George Austin is a small business owner and contractor from Suffield — a football coach, a husband, and a father of two. The son of Mexican immigrants, George is fluent in English and Spanish and has spent his career meeting payroll and running job sites, not sitting behind a podium. He’s running because Eastern Connecticut deserves a voice that understands the pressure on lunchbox people — and he’s not here to be anybody’s rubber stamp.
